1. All users are to follow the rules. No exceptions.
2. Moderators are chosen by the admin to help her replenish bad posts from the forum. That means posts breaking rules and spam.
3. You have to respect human rights. (This is quite obvious)
4. You have to respect each other and each other’s views. (even if you completely disagree)
5. You have to write in English.
6. Some content is not allowed:
- pornography (especially child pornography) and other mature material - in any form
- dirty and offensive language - will be censored or removed with annotation
- discussion about things illegal and forbidden proceeding - especially encouraging to break the law
- copyrighted material (without owner’s permission and giving the owner a proper credit)
- intolerance, hate, racism, etc.
- promotion of drugs and other addictions - you are allowed to talk about drugs if you quote trustworthy and objective sources, do not promote using them in any way and do not reveal any details about production
- advertising without permission of the admin (that means you should ask for permission if you want to link any external website, exceptions below)
- internet spam (such as chains and pyramid schemes)
Regarding usernames:
- it is strongly advised not to use your real full name as a username - first name is ok. I cannot check whether the name you used is your real name, thus these usernames won’t be deleted, bear in mind your safety, though.
- theft is bad. Do not mimic anyone’s username. Do not use my characters’ names in your usernames as well (I just don’t like it).
Regarding use of graphics:
- maximum graphic size you can paste into your post is 650x650 px. (bigger images will be replaced with links by moderators), for bigger images or bigger amount of images (more than 4 per post) I suggest using thumbnails or links instead.
- animated gifs are allowed as long as they are eye-friendly. That means no sparkling, no very fast animation, no blur-to-sharp-to-blur animation, etc.
- the above rule regards avatars as well
Regarding signatures:
- cannot be too long. Up to 6 lines in normal-sized font. No large graphics. All above rules apply to signatures, too.
